Poem by: Tess Bueno

I thought it would be helpful to share this poem during this time of unrest in our communities. It's a poem about the beauty of mankind. I was inspired to write this after many beautiful conversations with passengers from different nations during a flight from Seattle to Tokyo. I wanted to capture the warmth I felt in words and here's what flowed. Hope it can bring hope and comfort

Heavenly Father
As I fly over the oceans
You are with me
You are my King
The kingdom you bring
Shows through the skies
Unseen but yet so beautiful and vivid
Surrounded by seas of color
Beautiful people all around me
Every being woven in your image
I see your masterpiece, it is us
The human race
How interesting for years I pondered
The amber glow of the sunset
Was your masterpiece
But now I see
Each heart you formed in the womb
A beautiful creation
Longing to show a unique color
A wondrous design
A masterpiece in the making
Forming to be displayed
To serve and light the hearts of others
In God's Gallery
We call Life.
